Speed of memtest

can you tell me what is the maximum speed of memtest you got? I was running this all the time in a virtual machine and got in intraffic and memtest 2-3 MByte/s. But now I tried on a real computer and got 25MByte/s with intraffic (how I expected=) and 3MByte with memtest.

In memtest I receive every correct value (intraffic lost many of them). So is it normal, that in memtest, its only 3MByte/s?
